Hello to everyone and welcome to my blog!
At first, let me introduce myself – my name is Adomas and I am originally from a very beautiful country called Lithuania. I’ve recently finished my first course of Mathematics and Economics at the University of Nottingham but I am currently very far away from the United Kingdom (and even further from the rainy and chilly British weather!). And… I think you might have already guessed from the title of this blog that I am currently spending my time in… yes, gorgeous Venezuela!
Okay, but why Venezuela?
That’s because I am a member of an organisation called AIESEC* (and yes, we have a ridiculous amount of acronyms but you shouldn’t worry too much – just not your head and pretend that you understand everything as some of our experienced members still do haha).
So yes, there is a special programme for its members called CEED. 15 other students and I were selected from UK to go to another countries and help the Local Committees of AIESEC to develop their skills, share ideas, increase cultural understanding and… have a great time as well! And if you decide to keep reading this blog, that I’ll try to update as often as possible, you will learn about some of my adventures and other interesting findings… but more about them next time!
AIESEC – Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales. I will tell you more about it in my next post.
P.S. it is my first blog ever so constructive feedback is really appreciated. And guys, just ignore all the grammar mistakes if you find any haha!
